Basically, stretch marks are caused by the inability of the collagen and elastin in your skin to stretch as fast as skin tissue expansion with pregnancy or weight gain. This exposes deeper layers of the skin that are not normally visible, resulting in stretch marks.
Once you have stretch marks, there are really no topical cream or vitamin that have been shown clinically to make a significant difference. Some stretch marks may fade over time but regrettably, many persist.
At A Younger You MedSpa we have developed a new protocol to treat and improve stretch marks, which makes it possible to see dramatic improvement in the appearance of stretch marks using a combination of sub-scission , injections of Scrulptra and the our skin tightening Cryoskin Technology, and / or in some cases using Microneedling.
The first part of the treatment is the cannula to cause what is call subscission at the same time delivering Sculptra. This stimulates fibroblasts and rebuilds collagen and results in reduced skin damage with minimal downtime.
A unique cannula subscission delivers targeted collagen induction Poly-L-lactic acid to deeper skin layers by creating very small, microdermal wounds. The surrounding healthy tissue helps to heal these microwounds, which improves skin texture.
The Micro-Needling treatment delivers thousands of micro injuries to initiate the body’s wound healing process. The body then begins to break down damaged tissue and produce healthy new cells. These cells repair and remodel the injured tissue, producing organized, healthy dermal tissue such as collagen and elastin.
The cost of this procedure will depend on how old the stretch marks are and how large or small of an area we have to treat. Key concept is for post pregnancies patients gets the best and quickest results. Most patients requires 3 sessions.
